A great piece of inspiration from Owen KC Stephens...

Let it never be said that I wouldn't steal a good idea, especially from Owen KC Stephens and with that…

And with this membership push, if we reach our number by December 25th, we will make Secret Societies of NeoExodus: SectionOmega (PFRPG) (with path psionics game mechanics created by the one and only folks of Dreamscarred Press) permanently FREE!

Right now we are at 520 so that gives us over two months to gain 230 more likes, and if we go higher then we will add stretch goals.

So tell everyone you know about our page, spread the message of LPJ Design goodness, and let's see how high this can go!  Talk to you later...

One $250 level purchased, 19 more to go to go with the Cross of Fire Saga kickstarter

My personal favorite level of the Cross of Fire Saga kickstarter in the $250 level, because it give people the chance to help create one of the most interesting parts of the adventure, the artwork. Our artistic process is not just interesting, but it is a LOT of fun because it gives me a chance to look through and get new artwork for my Pinterest account. For those who have never done anything like this, check out all the cool artwork you like to look at and see what you like about it. Is it the coloring? Is it the composition? Is it the action going on in the piece? What makes you excited to see this image? I always start with comic book covers and pick ones I like a WHOLE lot for example Uncanny X-Men 141 is considered to be one o the greatest comic book covers ever created. And one look tells you why.  So don’t miss out on the opportunity to get a taste what it it’s like to be a on the inside of product development. Talk to you later…

What genre of gaming are you playing with Pathfinder and NeoExodus?

This is a question I have been thinking over since the release of Obsidian Apocalypse. The reason for that is that when we did Obsidian Apocalypse we built it with 4 campaign templates that you can use to play whatever type of post-apocalyptic survival horror campaign you wanted. And I thought of taking that same concept with the new NeoExodus update I am working on. See there ae so many people playing Pathfinder, but everyone is playing it differently. Some people are playing a hack and slash campaign. Some people are playing it as a virtual LARPing system. And some are making it a mix of both. Some others are playing like High Fantasy, others Low Fantasy and others still as Epic Fantasy. There are so many ways to play this game. And with that I decided that we would create a system to help make NeoExodus playable in several genres including Political Thriller, Fantasy Pulp and Science Fantasy. I think this will helpful with the appeal of NeoExodus, since some were confused of what type of fantasy you could play, since we didn't have the traditional fantasy races. Hope this helps. Getting Retailers on board with Cross of Fire Saga Kickstarter

One of the toughest issues I have had is getting retailers on board with the concept of kickstarters. I have done everything I could do to get them on board with what we have been doing with LPJ Design.  And with Cross of Fire Saga this is no different. So with that I have created a Retailer $60 Reward level (You will be asked to confirm your retailer status of course). Retailers please contact us directly to learn exactly what we are providing to you at that level. Or you can donate at the $1 level and then increase it to the retailer level later.

Personally I want retailers to have access to the products that we meet create because we want to support the people to help us create and have so much fun.  So go to your local gaming stores and let them know what we are doing with this kickstarter and ask them to support us.  We can't do this without your help. Still working on the update to NeoExodus campaign setting book…

So I am working on the revamp of NeoExodus campaign settingbook, and I am AMAZED about how much art will be in this book. In addition to using art we have already used we are still adding MORE artwork. For example we are doing new artwork for the races of Cavian, Enuka (See here), Gevet and Sasori.  The reason being many of the pieces were created years ago and need updating. Also we are adding flag for each empire (in color) so you can get a better idea of the usage of the symbols we use for the empires. Plus I want to add more content for the race in the way of additional race traits. I personally what each race to have at least four racial traits. I think it will give the races a more balanced feel and the ability to make a more “unique” version for PCs.  And for some reason I will be adding in height, weight and age charts for each of the races. People seem to get really crazy if this is missing.  I don’t know when this will be finished but it is keeping me excited. Talk to you later…

Cross of Fire Saga Kickstarter is asking you to Back it for a buck!!!

You say you blown your budget for kickstarters and you can’t support us? You say money is tight and you would donate if you could? You say that you think donating one dollar will not matter?

Come on people! We want you to back us for a buck. We are not asking a lot, because we know times are tough and money can be a little tight. We are having our kickstarter for 40 days (late September through early November) because we now money can be tight at the WORST moments.  But we at LPJ Design only want you to “Back Us for a Buck”! One lone American dollar. See what makes our kickstarter different is that we have rewards not just for the money we raise, BUT the amount of actual donors we get. The more donors we get, the more cool things we get to offer. So do LPJ Design and Our kickstarter a little favor, instead of picking up the 4 piece chicken nuggets from Wendy’s or that sweet ice tea from McDonalds, Dollar Menu be dammed. Toss us a that buck. We will do a lot more amazing stuff with that buck then Wendy’s or McDonalds. Like finding new and interesting ways to hurt your PC and then rewarding you after we have done it. Talk to you later…

Clinton Boomer, 31 Haunted Days and A Sword for Hire Interview…

A few months ago, I approached Clinton Boomer with working with us due to the work he was doing his daily feats he was doing at his Tumblrsite. The work he was doing was AMAZING, and I had always wanted to work with him, so I contacted him and he agreed. I thought it would be cool to do a full month of horror focused feats, which he named 31 Haunted Days. So today started the 31 Haunted Days with a great feat of undead gunslingers. Best of all this even and feats ties in perfectly with our Cross of Fire Saga adventure path kickstarter.

And keeping in tune with our kickstarter, the blog site, ASword for Hire interviewed us on our Cross of Fire Saga adventure path kickstarter. So if you are interested in learning a little behind the scenes stuff, go over and check it out. It will be VERY informative. Talk to you later…
