Announcing Codex: Torment 3PP Monster Sourcebook for Pathfinder Kickstarter
OK even though this kickstarter does not start until early
2014 and right now Bones II has taken over the focus of table top gaming, we wanted to let you know that
we have build a website for the upcoming Codex: Torment 3PP Monster Sourcebook forPathfinder Team-Up Website!!! This website list all the 3PP, writers and artists that will be currently working
on this project and will update it with any and all new companies of people we
add to this kickstarter. So save this link so you can check back later with our

Missed Kickstarter opportunities – one major, one minor for Pathfinder!!!
While the previous issue was minor, here are a major issue
for BOTH of these kickstarters. While looking over the rewards for The
Unhallowed Endzeitgeist on the Paizo forum brought up this issue:
Also: Ships within US only? :/ I would contemplate joining
for dead tree, but since all options for dead-tree are US-exclusive, I guess
that's not possible. Please contemplate adding a level for your international
demographic.
Come on no shipping outside the US? Guys it is 2013 you can
mail things worldwide for a “reasonable price”. Forget overseas, you guys wouldn’t
even ship to Canada? Why would you not let Canadian and oversea donors get what
they want? That is a MAJOR missed opportunity.
Dragon Kings even out did this missed opportunity. Here is
what I wrote in a Paizo forum post :
It is up now!!!......BUT I noticed that they DON'T have a
level where I can just get the World Book PDF ONLY. At $70 (the lowest level
where I can the world book PDF) I can get a LOT of stuff, but I just want the
world book PDF. PLEASE make a level for just the world book pdf. Thanks!
The cheapest PDF version I can get is $70? And with that, a
major opportunity missed to get my money and apparently several other donors
who felt the same way in that thread. Guys, put in a $20 PDF only version and get all that
money you are “leaving on the table”. I
am sure they will reach their goal but I am sure they could have done it A LOT faster with that little change. Talk to you

Another week has gone and
now is time for another round to reviewing the statistics from Paizo.com. Let’s
do the quick over view:
September 6th

As with last week, we had
another week of surprises AND somethings things staying the same.
First off Jason Bulmahn
pulls of the hat trick (I still don’t know what that really means) with Minotaur
Games stayed #1 for the third week in the row with Rule Zero: Underling. Jason said on Facebook that he did not think he could get to three weeks as
number one. I guess he was wrong about that one. Can he pull out four weeks as #1?
I guess we will see next week.
Kobold Press adds
ANOTHER product to the Top Ten increasing their numbers to three and taking the top
#2, #3 and #4 spots with Advanced Races 2: Darakhul Ghouls, Dark Fey and
New Paths #7: The Expanded White Necromancer.
Pathfinder Paper Minis reduces
their number of product to one and took the #5 spot with the all new just
released The People of Belhaim. The other two products that were listed last week is no where to be found on this top list.
Does this signal something about Pathfinder Paper Minis' staying power?
Legendary Games lost
ANOTHER product from the Top Ten spot this week reducing their number to only three
product (from a high of five products in the Top Ten just two weeks ago) taking the #6, #7 and
#10 spots with Mythic Magic: Core Spells, Ultimate Battle and finally Ultimate Rulership in at #10 for the 2nd week in the row.
And some very INTERESTING
news we have TWO ALL NEW companies breaking the Top Ten for the first time in over the last TWO
MONTHS!
First we have TPK Games
with their The Deductionist Base Class coming
in at #8. It seems this one is getting good reviews and people are interested.
Finally we have the fan
favorite Frog God Games entering the Top Ten at #9 with Tomb of Horrors 4. More monsters from Pathfinder fans is always welcome it seems.
Other VERY interesting
facts to notice after being on the Top Ten list for eight weeks straight, SuperGenius Games does
not make it this week in the Top Ten. Apparently this
was the week for the “two new upstarts” of TPK Games and Frog God Games to make
their make in the Top Ten. Will Super Genius need to "step up their game" this week to regain this elite status and positioning in the Top Ten?
Looks the competition for
online exposure on Paizo.com is getting tough for a lot of the 3PP out there.
Can Minotaur Games keep holding on to the #1 spot or will Kolbold Press finally break into
the #1 spot which has eluded them for the last eight weeks? Will Legendary
Games lose more product spots to the new up and coming 3PPs looking to break into the Top Ten or are they planning a return to former fame with the release of new products? With being off this list for nearly a month, will we see Rite Publishing return to the fray of
the Top Ten listing or are they just waiting for the right time to return to their past glory? What do think about this? What gets you interested in

August 30th the top ten consist of:

As you can see right off the bat the list of companies that
the top 10 have not changed in 3 weeks, but there is a change in quantities. In the week of September 13, both Legendary
and Super Genius Games both sold 1 less product while Koblold Press and Pathfinder
Paper Minis both increased sales by 1 product.
Minotaur Games stayed #1 for the second week in the row with Rule Zero:Underling.
Legendary kept the #3 spot with Mythic Monsters: Demons while Ultimate Battle dropped to #4. Mythic Magic: CoreSpells came in at #7 and Ultimate Rulership in at #10
Kobold Press’ releases Advanced Races 2: Darakhul Ghouls entering at #2 and Dark Fey entering at #5.
Super Genius Games had there only appearance at #6 with TheGenius Guide to More Cavalier Talents.
Pathfinder Paper Minis took the #8 and #9 spots with PathfinderPaper Minis—Pathfinder Module: "The Dragon's Demand" PDF and Pathfinder Paper Minis—SandpointTownsfolk PDF.
Can Minotaur keep the #1 spot for another week? What new 3PP will be added to this list of names? Who will fall off the list? What do think about this? What gets you interested in buying

3 days left in the Kickstarter and I just got the printer’s print quote in!
I am glad we have done as well as we have, But I still hope
we can make the $10K threshold goal!!!! There are still SO MANY COOL THINGS
that are available at the threshold goals. So if you know anyone who has not
donated yet, then help them get on board on what we are attempting to do. We
can do it. We only need a little more than $4K to do it and we still need your

Two more thresholds added to the Free RPG Day 2013 NeoExodus Adventure
Since we are so close to reaching the $5,000 threshold goal
and we still have 21 days left on this kickstarter we wanted to give you some

33 days to go on Free RPG Day NeoExodus Kickstarter
We have been every quite over the last few days of the FreeRPG Day 2013 NeoExodus Adventure for Pathfinder RPG Kickstarter. I think some
of you have said, “Yeah, they reach their goal. That is it!” And of course that
is not it!
We have LOTS of hidden threshold and donor goals waiting for
you. We have goals all the way up to $25,000. That is right we have planned to
reach ten times the amount we need to raise! Now I know there are a lot of
kickstarters out there asking for all kinds of donors for all kinds of cool
things. But the big difference between those kickstarters and our kickstarter
is that we are supporting Paizo, Pathfinder and other third party publishers
with this kickstarer.
For each free adventure we give out at Free RPG Day 2013,
that is a new potential gamer who is going to play Pathfinder. Better yet, each
new gamer who exposed to a third party publisher of Pathfinder, discovers the
amazing amount of support Paizo gives to third party publishers. We who play
Pathfinder are a family and we at LPJ Design want to share our feeling of
family to more and more gamers who have never played Pathfinder. So if you have
a second go out and tell people about this Free RPG Day kickstarter and all the
good it is doing for the pathfinder community. The more people exposed and
playing Pathfinder is a good thing. As I have said before, when you support
third party publishers of Pathfinder, you support Pathfinder. Show your

The gatekeepers to 3PP of Pathfinder
I got 10% through the list and I stopped.
I was kind of a
wast of time because SO MANY people signed up but released only one product and
ever worst most released nothing. If you
head over to RPGNow.com and select Rule System Pathfinder, here is the list of companies
that came up for me:
Abandoned Arts, Alluria Publishing, Avalon Game Company, EN Publishing, Fire Mountain Games, Frog God Games, Jon Brazer Enterprises, Legendary Games, Little Red Goblin Games,
LPJ Design, Necromancers of the Northwest, Open Design, Raging Swan Press, Rite Publishing and Super Genius Games.
As you can see 15 companies that RPGNow.com feels are the most
important / influential in the area of Pathfinder products. I find this very interesting in the concept
of gatekeepers. To make it on to the
list of 15 publishers you have to work very hard to keep producing product on a
regular basis that fans are interested in.
But the really interesting part is the number of people who WANT to or
PLANNED to create something for Pathfinder. Many of these people/companies produced
nothing. While even fewer produced just one product and decided for some reason
not to do more. When you think about it
on a small scale all you need to do is do as much work and the “number 15” on
the list and you could release them on that list. I mean that it isn’t really that difficult. Fifteen others are doing it, so why can’t you.
