[LPJ Design] Monsters of NeoExodus: Caliban for The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game updated and released

Louis Porter Jr. Design, has updated and released Monsters of NeoExodus: Caliban for The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game at RPGNow.com and DriveThruRPG.com with more new content. Here is information on this product:

Their eyes are as black as the darkest, starless night and their muscular body and skin in a direct contrast being stark white. Their lips often covered in humanoid blood, conceal teeth that have been filed and shaped into fine points, like those of a shark. A mere moment before you see the creature attack you, the putrid smell of rancid humanoid flesh invades your nostrils. The stench on the humanoid’s clothes – a mixture of blood, sweat, and decaying flesh – is enough to make anyone retch and vomit. Those who come in contact with these creatures know who they are, even when they cannot see them. These savages call themselves the calibans.

This supplement update includes:
  • Two new monsters the Caliban, Caliban Headtaker, Caliban Elite, Caliban Witch Doctor, Caliban Clan Leader
  • Rules for creating Caliban as characters
  • Three new Caliban weapons
  • More five Caliban feats including Consume Heart, Filthy Beast and Necrophagic Rejuvenation
  • Three new Caliban spells including Doppelganger Digestion, Furious Finish and Savage Rebuke
  • Background and history of the Caliban

Louis Porter Jr. Design, has released NeoExodus Campaign Setting for The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game at RPGNow.com and DriveThruRPG.com. Here is information on this product:

The World of Exodus needs heroes…

Exodus boasts a turbulent history—from the rise of the Kaga to the defeat of the First Ones and the events of the Twilight War, from the creation of the Imperial Alliance to the present crisis that threatens to tear the Alliance apart. Great heroes and terrible villains drove this march of time, though even in hindsight the two are not always easy to tell apart. Theirs were the titanic passions, the burning obsessions, and the base treacheries in which modern Exodus was forged and tempered. And once again, the world of Exodus needs heroes…

Inside this book you’ll find all you need to embark on adventures in the exciting setting of NeoExodus:
  • The history of Exodus, from the reign of the First Ones to the Dominion–Protectorate Wars, from the Twilight War to the creation of the Imperial Alliance.
  • Details on the nations of Exodus, including the powerful Caneus Empire, the magic-wielding Dominion, the mechanically minded Arman Protectorate, the unifying Imperial Alliance, and many more.
  • Nine all-new races, usable as PCs or NPCs, including the cavians, psionic rat-men; the cyneans, arcane crystalline humanoids; the dalreans, plantlike humanoids; and the p’tan, feline creatures who can conjure black lightning.

Louis Porter Jr. Design, has released Classes of NeoExodus: Protean Scribe for The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game at RPGNow.com and DriveThruRPG.com. Here is information on this product:

Words that drew forth the universe itself from the protean mass of chaos that came before. Protean scribes dedicate their lives to unearthing these primordial words, and to weaving them into common languages to create powerful magical effects; empowering their allies, weakening their foes, or even creating life with nothing more than a simple stylus and a few words.

Inside this sourcebook you will find you’ll need to enhance on adventures when using the Protean Scribe base class:
  • All the information to play the Protean Scribe as base class for the Pathfinder RPG and NeoExodus: A House Divided Campaign Setting.

Righting a wrong with Freja Ilyanovka...

When I first created the NeoExodus: A House Divided iconic, Freja Ilyanovka, I used the movie, Brotherhood of the Wolf as my inspiration for visually what I wanted to see. The artist I assigned took my idea and ran with it. The image that he came back with was the one that you see here.

While it is a nice piece the one thing that REALLY stand out with it is the now infamous "boob window". When I first saw it I was like, "Oh yeah! That is what I am talking about!" because I like many men I know are fans of breasts and thighs and this image has both. And I used this image over and over for years. But after time, I noticed that women didn't really seem to like this image. And many women called me out for being sexist. I found this odd due to the fact NeoExodus has women in control in five out of the six major empires and we have an equal amount of male to female iconics.

But after a while, I didn't feel as good about the image of Freja Ilyanovka. So when we did her chapter opener image and covered up the boob window and made her more empowered WITH her clothes on. With all this today, I spoke to one of my artists that we are going to change the iconic image of Freja Ilyanovka. This is what I wrote him:

I need to do a character design image of the following image. But I what her in a stronger pose. This one makes her look like she is skipping along. I want to give her a traditional "tough guy" pose of Wolverine / Batman / Punisher. Looking cooler and tougher and LESS overt sexual. I also want to cover her "boob window" thanks. Please let me know.

And with that, I can't wait to see the new artwork for Freja Ilyanovka. So remember, when I do stupid things, I want people to tell me they are stupid. Because I know eventually I will get it. I am always a work in progress and I am sorry if you were offended by that artwork. Talk to you later...

Rough draft of newest NeoEoxdus Iconics - Shani Bennu

One of our newest artist, Zefanya Maega, just sent us our latest rough draft to our newest NeoExodus iconic Spiritualist, Shani Bennu. We based the visual concept of Shani off of a picture of Satine Phoenix that I thought was an amazing image. As always, I wanted to throw in an exotic look that you would not find in typical European fantasy setting, so I when with an Egyptian influence. And with that, Zefanya can up with this rough image which looks amazing! I am really happy with what I saw and giving him so much freedom to surprise me. What do you all think? Talk to you later...

The world of Exodus is inhabited by marvelous creatures, both dangerous and benign. Among the mightiest of these are dragons. Described herein are two new categories of dragon that can be found upon Exodus: the noble and mysterious stellar dragons, and the fell creatures known as conflict dragons. Both types provide for dangerous new foes. While the stellar dragons may be noble and high-minded, they tend to be dismissive of lesser creatures, finding them expendable in the face of achieving the greater good.
