Owen KC Stephens’ Time Thief goes iconic with NeoExodus

We reached our next threshold goal and with that, Owen KC Stephens gets to add the Time Thief iconic to the the NeoExodus Campaign Setting. What will Owen come up with? I am going to guess it will be something that people won’t generally expect and something people will loving playing. Better still the NEXT threshold goal is $8,000 with the Dragon Lords: the Apocalypse Dragon and Infinity Dragon. These Dragon Lords redefine the word dangerous. This is just getting better and better each day with this kickstarter. As always, thanks for your support!

Next Stretch Goal - Owen KC Stephens and the Iconic Time Thief!!!

This powerhouse of a kickstarter keeps going and going! We just added the four Stellar Dragons reward to this kickstarter and NOW we are moving on to the BIG TIME. Owen KC Stephens is a game designer who need no introduction. His reputation for quality, professionalism and expertise is known in the gaming community. All I can say it is great to have Owen come home to NeoExodus. So as of right now we still need everyone support to reach this goal. I mean who doesn't want a cool Time Thief iconic add to the already impressive list of iconic created during this kickstarter?

After we reach Owen's threshold reward, we move on to the last of the Stretch Goals 1 with the Dragon Lords (the Infinity Dragon and the Apocalypse Dragon). With all that awesome support for the Conflict and the Stellar Dragon, this is only a matter of time until we close out the Stretch Goals 1 and move onto Stretch Goals 2. So please go to the kickstarter and help make this dream come true!!!  As always, thanks for your support!

Next Threshold Goals up - Conflict Dragons, Stellar Dragons and Owen KC Stephens AWESOMENESS

The train of awesomeness called NeoExodus Campaign Setting Update for Pathfinder RPG kickstarter continues to roll on. It is really great to see the fans come out and support this Kickstarter plus give us an opportunity to make great products for the fans. The next threshold goal up is our Conflict Dragons. There have been a lot of people interested in our Conflict Dragons since we first announced them. The evil dragons for the NeoExodus have really drawn interest from Pathfinder fans. Especially those supporting our friends over at Rite Publishing with their In the Company of Dragons Kickstarter. After we reach our Conflict Dragons threshold goal it is off to our Stellar Dragons rewards, AKA the good dragons of NeoExodus. You will see a lot of cool and interesting concepts for these dragons and why they are so different from your typical dragons. And finally after reaching that threshold goal to go after adding world famous superstar game designer, Owen KC Stephens with an all new Time Thief Iconic for the NeoExodus setting.

So as you can see that the NeoExodus Campaign Setting Update for Pathfinder RPG kickstarter is going VERY WELL and I just want to thank everyone for their support of making this a success. Nothing is more exciting than letting designers you like, trust and know play with their “toys” in your sandbox”. But to get to all that excitement we have to reach out threshold goals.Tell your friends, Hell tell your enemies that we are only $750 away from reaching our next goal Conflict Dragons and we need your help. Let spread this like wildfire! We can do this with your help. As always, thanks for your support!

A great piece of inspiration from Owen KC Stephens...

Let it never be said that I wouldn't steal a good idea, especially from Owen KC Stephens and with that…

And with this membership push, if we reach our number by December 25th, we will make Secret Societies of NeoExodus: SectionOmega (PFRPG) (with path psionics game mechanics created by the one and only folks of Dreamscarred Press) permanently FREE!

Right now we are at 520 so that gives us over two months to gain 230 more likes, and if we go higher then we will add stretch goals.

So tell everyone you know about our page, spread the message of LPJ Design goodness, and let's see how high this can go!  Talk to you later...

Crisis on Infinite Earths + ?????? = Next AWESOME kickstarter

I am looking over the economical formulas to see if the (hopefully upcoming) Crisis on Infinite Earths plus ?????? (Thought of an AMAZING add-on to the original concept) influenced can be done for a reasonable price. We are looking to pay the most we have every paid for writers ($0.08 a word) due to the fact that we need several very high end writers planned to work on this. We are looking for the word count of the AP to reach 80K. That with the amount of artwork we are looking to have (roughly 160 different pieces including covers, headshot and half page images), this Kickstarter is going to have to be $35,000.  And that just covers the the 4 APs.

Let not even talk about the 20 "sidetrek / starter adventures" (roughly 100K words in length) that we would like to have this kickstarter. Now add in, I am going to have LOTS of other 3PP material added to this kickstarter. So this gets bigger and bigger.

Best of all, When this AP is finished, there should be a campaign setting that I am going to make 100% OGL for any and all 3PP to use and build from. I am going to include some of the artwork and make it 100% Open content to use. Sounds crazy? It is. Is it possible? HELL YES!!!!! Now I have to call Owen KC Stephens to see if I am crazy as I think I am. Talk to you later...

I wonder what [Insert gaming professional] will think about this…

Very often, I get an idea that I think is great but I know well enough that I need to get a second opinion on. The reason for that is because lots of things sound great in your head and become absolutely crap-tastic when they get on paper. So the idea that I am working with if from a blog post I did called, “Taking a chance on getting the kinks out of the Androids...” and I came up with this simple little idea: Robots looking for the “truth of things” and who are religious fanatics about gambling and taking a chance.

But I don’t want to get response from just ONE gaming professional, I want to get response from A LOT of gaming professionals. So here is my question to you gaming professionals out there: What do you think about this android / robot / construct idea in a fantasy setting? There are no wrong answers (Clinton Boomer and Owen I am talking to you) just interesting ideas. Talk to you later…

And the review is in for Obsidian Apocalypse!!!

And for all the work we did on Obsidian Apocalypse from all the great names like JP Chapleau, Kalyna Conrad, Eric Hindley, Jeff Lee, Owen K.C. Stephens, Richard Pett, Rich Redman, Louis Porter Jr., James Desborough, Robert “Bob” E. Drouin, Wojciech “Drejk” Gruchala, Nick Herold, Sam Hing, Michael McCarthy, Jonathan Palmer and Richard Pett, I think this review is the most satisfying with this paragraph:

I was honestly skeptical when I backed the Kickstarter back in the day – and am thoroughly glad I did. I’m not kidding when I say that this is a whole new beast that rectifies just about all of the issues of its predecessor and adds vast amounts of awesomeness on top. My final verdict will clock in at 5 stars + seal of approval – and, since I didn’t manage to get the review done in time in 2013, this one now is a candidate for my Top Ten of 2014. If you’ll excuse me, I have an endtimes-scenario to plan…

Once again I have to thank everyone who supported us on this and all the people who worked it. This could not have been done without you.

With still 6 days left those guys at the Imperial Men-at-Arms ($35) level just received their last threshold goal.. So thanks to all the Imperial Men-at-Arms ($35) level donors and higher that have helped make this whole kickstarter a success.  Talk to you later...
