Does it come with a pdf? I mean for 1 character portfolio it feels like I would just be paying for an over expensive binder if it didn't come out with a pdf to print for different characters as well.
Also how does it stack up to other fan created character sheets? Namely Happy Camper's sheets (http://www.pathfinderdb.com/character-sheets/48-fan-created-sheets/948-happy-campers-pathfinder-character-sheets) or Neceros' sheet (http://www.pathfinderdb.com/character-sheets/48-fan-created-sheets/84-neceros-pfrpg-character-sheet) or your own for that matter?
At the moment looking at the reviews and discussions it feels like we're being shown a pretty product but are given any real facts about it yet.
Hi, I'll try to answer your questions. The Complete Character Folio was never intended to be an electronic product. There's a lot of excellent free character sheets available in lots of places, and there's also Hero Lab. For that reason, we decided not to produce it as a PDF.
It's 11 pages, so its more detailed than the 3-page sheets out there, and less so than the 19+ page ones. Most of the character info is in 6 pages. The folio isn't specific to any one class, and the mini sheets aren't specific either - they could be use for your familiar, mount, eidolon, cohort, follower, summoned monster, or even as back-ups for the rest of your party.
If there's something in particular you like to know is included, feel free to email us at gameringenuity@gmail.com , and I'll do my best to answer your questions.
Our costs determined the price - we would have liked to have offered it for less, but with the pockets, it wasn't possible - and we felt having pockets was necessary.
Here's some reviews you may or may not have seen:
"I checked this out in the warehouse today and I honestly can't imagine running a character without one of these. I plan to pick one up for my next campaign and maybe even retroactively convert all my existing characters to these sheets as well." - Mark Moreland, PF Developer
"I have already bought two of them. One for PFS and one for home games. They are great and it looks like they will hold up to erasing pretty well. Also, the front and back cover sleeves are printed with commonly used tables (conditions, combat modifiers, etc.)." - Galahad0430. paizo.com subscriber
"I got to see a pre-release of this at GenCon. It is really well thought out and has clean design and production value. If you need a character folio, this is the one to get!" - TempleLion (Doug Daulton of NEONCON), paizo.com
I do have a few questions:
