It always amazes me how good a writer Geoff Johns is. He takes things that have become dry and borring and breathes life into them again and makes them AMAZING!!! The Final issue of the Green Lantern Corps / Sinetro Corps War just came out and it was PERFECT! The Story was perfect. The art was perfect and best of all, in this issue not only do they wrap up the whole event well, they also get you ready for the 2008 Summer Event, Darkest Night. It is amazing to see how DC Comics has returned to power doing great work like it was doing in the early and mid 1980s. A lot of writers should take a look at how Geoff Johns handles villains and use what he has done as a template for creating their own villains. He just gets it right. A lot a people are all about Joss Whedon (Don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE fan of his work. Can't wait to see Dollhouse), but Geoff Johns understands how to make the villain relate to you as a reader. Geoff Johns does it right ... AGAIN!!!
