Every Book—10,000 Copies Stolen
Here is a small article at ICv2 on piracy that I thought would be good reading for PRG Publisher. Enjoy!

Already saw: Fringe and True Blood
Fringe kind of reminded me of the pilot of Global Frequency with Pacey, but not as good. It was OK. Not the worst, but could have been better. A LOT BETTER. I get the feeling (which I kind of agree with) that J.J. Abrams is NOT the big next thing. He seems to have the "M. Night Shyamalan Effect" happening to him. Basically, One good idea that get over hyped (J.J. Abrams's Alias, which I thought SUCKED from day one. If you are going to steal from Joel Surnow, steal better! La Femme Nikita KICKED ASS!) and the "mainstream" love it until they are told to love something else. Maybe he will learn from Joss Whedon and Chris Carter about how to make a show that will pass the test of time.
True Blood, well... it was an adult vampire show with a cool concept. But, I am going to have to see more before I give it a good or bad rating. But I am interested, so I guess that is a good thing. Talk to you later...

Love Stargate Atlantis, Hate Stargate
I think Stargate: Atlantis is an incredibly enjoyable sci-fi show. I like JUST about everything with it, but the funny thing is, I CANNOT get into Stargate SG-1. For some reason the original show, Stargate SG-1, does not appeal to me, but Stargate: Atlantis is EXCELLENT. Now this is not the first time this has happened. I liked Star Trek: TNG, but I love Star Trek: DS9; I like Buffy, but I love Angel; I like Hercules, but I love Xena. I wonder what that is all about.
Oh yes, I got a chance to see another Canadian focus TV Show called jPod. I must say VERY INTERESTING! It is smart and funny and silly all at the same time. If you live in Canada or have bittorrent, take a second out and check it out.

New Canadian TV Show: The Border
Bittorrent strikes again! I just saw the first episode of this new Canadian TV Show, The Border. Another high quality show created and produced in Canada. While Canada has be the budget location used for the US Film and TV industry for years, Canada production companies look like they are "breaking out of their shells" and do more Canadian focus-"Amerized" type of shows. Regenesis is another great example of this. I hope on of the minor TV or cable network might pick this one up for mass American audience to see. Plus this show has a lit of cool ideas that could be converted to cool D20 Modern products. Here is one I got from the show already: Light sentitve explosives. The explosive detonates when a camera flash goes off. Imagine the effects of that during a TV press release. Talk to you later...

5 months with out TV...
Roughly 5 months ago I cut my cable service and I have been with out local or cable TV for that time. The interesting part is I have seen MORE TV now then ever before. With sites like BitTorrent, Netflix, Blockbuster Video or even actually network placing show on their website I have not missed any of the shows I wanted to watch and best of all I get them WITHOUT commerials (mostly). I personally think TV as we know it will be dead with in 10 to 20 years. What will replace it will be a mix TV as we know it / Movies / and on-Demand service. I have "gotten off the tube" maybe you should think about it. Oh yea I forgot to tell, you the money that I saved by getting off of the tube (roughly $70 - $80 a month = $840 to 960 a year) Has done very well in helping to get me out of debt
. Talk to you later...
