Anyone brave or foolish enough to choose a Druid as an enemy will want one of these nets. Wildbreaker Nets are hewn from silver chain and the inner surface of the net is studded with sadistic iron thorns. Wrapped in a wildbreaker net, a Druid’s most potent gift, the ability to wildshape, counts for nothing.
Any creature trapped in the wildbreaker net is returned to his or her natural form and cannot change shape while trapped, either via wildshape nor by any other means. The wildbreaker net can trap a creature up to two size categories larger than the wielder. The magical net has 50 Hit Points, and can be burst with a DC 35 STR Check or slipped out of with a DC 30 Escape Artist check.

Okay, wow. Instant dispelling of any form change, no save required? I think this is a wee bit too powerful, mostly because of unintended consequences.
ReplyDeleteHunting Lychanthropes? Use the net to force them back to human form and then kill them.
Think a party member is a doppleganger? Use the net on them
Going to a diplomatic affair? Have a net at the entrance to make sure everyone is who they claim they are.
And what happens if you use the net on a shapechanged dragon? I bet the net gets destroyed and you have a rather peeved dragon on your hands.
I would suggest that it forces a Will Save vs. the caster level of the net's creator.
