Obsidian Twilight writer Joshua Cole came up with a really cool d20 / OGL mechanic for races and feats. The mechanic which I branded, “The Cole Mechanic” was first seen in Races of NeoExodus: P’Tan. The RPGNow.com review Nathan Collins even made comment of it in his 4- out of 5-star review of the product. Now of course I am not going to tell you what it is or how it works (pick up the PDF if you want that info) but I will say that we are using it for the all new races we are creating for Obsidian Twilight. The Cole Mechanic is perfect for publishers looking to add some really interesting dimension to their own created races. Talk to you later…
