I had the artist re-do the female pirate image because I didn't think the last one was sexy enough. So to you think he got it right this time? Talk to you later...
Nearly-bare, gravity-defying bewbies are overdone in sci-fi / fantasy. She's plenty sexy, but could still be equally sexy without all the skin. Do something new and exciting: clothe your maids. Make them sexy by SUGGESTING curves rather than shoving them at us like a strip-club street hawker. Unless, of course, your preferred target audience is pre- or recently-pubescent.
Okay, that last comment was a little blunt and harsh. But you CAN express "sexy" without half-nude girls. And I really am tired of this kind of fare in my game books.
Yeah It borders on the offensive nature of what EVONY was doing with busty babes, I was fine with the first drawing and thought it did not have to go all Rob Liefeld :)
I'd say those boobs could be a bit of a hazard to a working pirate.....The rest is pretty damned sexy, but a bit of scale down needs to go on me thinks!
I've just looked at the other pirate too (hadn't noticed her before ;) ) and I think I like the full coat, big hat better. Put me in the "the more left to my *very* good imagination the better" category.

I think even the first picture is WAY too much. I would grimace looking at either of these in a book. Over-done & offensive.
