T minus 28 Days until the start of the Cross of Fire Saga Adventure Path Kickstarter for Pathfinder

The time is ticking down for the start of this all new and exciting kickstarter, the Cross of Fire Saga Adventure Path for Pathfinder Role Playing Game. To start you off on the right foot, we are going to talk about the first adventure in the Cross of Fire Saga Adventure Path written by LPJ Design very own Jeff Lee. 

PART 0: LONG WAY HOME 
Hurled Into Endless Night 

Seeking potent magic in the hands of an insane entity, accomplished adventurers find themselves transported to the bleak wasteland of Abaddon. As they explore their new surroundings, they must encounter a host of new terrors and determine whether to save a desperate caravan of nomads. Can adventurers save them, and can their weary new allies help them find a reliable way home? 

The Long Way Home is an adventure for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. The story and encounters are the first episode of the Cross of Fire Saga Adventure Path, but can also be played as a stand­alone adventure with light modification. The module includes a brief history of the Cross of Fire, an introduction to the world of Abaddon, and a powerful new curse. Characters should take up the adventure approximately half­way through 8th level. If they survive their first nights on Abaddon, they should reach 9th level by the adventure’s conclusion. 

As you can see this will be a great starting point for you to understand the world of Abaddon and the Obsidian Apocalypse campaign setting in general. Fans of Pathfinder and the horror genre in general will find the Cross of Fire Saga Adventure Path not only to be fun and exciting it will be revolutionary to what they are normally use to see. The Cross of Fire is complete

For those who are waiting for the Cross of Fire Saga Kickstarter to start, maybe you should take a look at the Cross of Fire. Lance Red has don it again! With another great piece of artwork that Jeff Lee and The Four Horsemen can draw a lot inspiration for to finish up there work on this. Pathfinder horror fans will love what we have planned for them. I can not wait! I can't wait for September to come fast enough.

Cross of Fire Saga Update: A little taste of the Long Way Home...

This is really for Jeff Lee and in reality for The Four Horsemen. Just wanted to make him (and them) feel good and give him a little taste what is future is going to look like. Enjoy Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and Paizo fans!

LPJ Design goes Mythic with Templates - Unstoppable

So as a little side project, Jeff Lee was kind enough to tackle the Mythic rule set here at LPJ Design and finished a short PDF that we are working called Mythic Add-Ons: Templates. And just so you can see it before you buy it here is a sample of what you can expect in this PDF.  And I am sure if you are a comic book fan, you might guess where this was inspired from. Enjoy!

Unstoppable (MR 1 or 2, CR +1)

Creatures with the unstoppable template have strength, durability, and will above and beyond their lesser kin, brutes that can run roughshod over most opponents, and nearly impossible to slow or stop when on the move. Like a juggernaut, an unstoppable creature can mow down anything in its path. If the creature has 11 or more Hit Dice, this simple template grants a mythic rank of 2 instead of 1. An unstoppable creature's quick and rebuild rules are the same.

Rebuild Rules: AC increase natural armor by 2 (or 4 if creature has 11 or more Hit Dice); hp mythic bonus hit points (see sidebar); Defensive Abilities gains DR and resistance to all types of energy as per table 2, as well as fortification and second save (see sidebar), and a +4 to its CMD vs. bull rush, grapple, overrun, and trip combat maneuvers; Special Attacks +4 to bull rush and overrun combat maneuvers, and double damage on charge attacks.
