Doing some social good with Kickstarter!

Since it looks like we should be hitting our goal of $5,000 for this kickstarter very soon, we at LPJ Design have added 3 more Benchmark Threshold Goals with two of them being focused on socially responsible goals. While when we reach $8,500 we will be providing a poster sized map of Abaddon for donor lever wight and up.

At the $7,500 and the $10,000 levels when we reach them will be donations that LPJ Design will make to the American Red Cross; an organization I have been supporting for over 10 years; in the way of $750 or $1,000 donations when we hit those goals.  When we originally released Obsidian Twilight we gave away free PDF copies to those who donated blood, so this time I wanted to do something a little more direct and something that actual can save a life. So once again thank you to everyone who has supported us so far.

That is a GOOD question.  I like doing projects like this.  Donating blood is my personal crusade and I know how important it is.  The natural tie in to Obsidian Twilight was easy and a perfect match.  So this year with Pirates of the Bronze Sky, I wanted to continue the concept of giving to get a RPG.  So I have to wonder, what should you do to get a free copy of Pirates of the Bronze Sky?  I don't know, but if you have a good idea send it to me at this blog and I will see if it is a good fit.  I think doing project like this is the right thing.  I hope you can help.  Talk to you later...

The Obsidian Twilight Help Save a Life Blood Donation Program Update

For all you that are wondering about the Obsidian Twilight Help Save a Life Blood Donation Program is going we have had almost ten people send info and stuff to get there free copies. Some of you are like “Ten people is not a lot of people. Who care?” Those ten people saved ten lives. Ten. Lives. Saved. That is why I am doing this. For those who can’t get proof of their Blood Donation for Obsidian Twilight, Do this!!!!

OK an issue has popped up with some of the people who are trying to donate blood in Canada and not being able to get the sheet to prove you have given blood. And without the sheet you can’t get a free copy of Obsidian Twilight. Well I have come up with an answer for that. For CANADIAN blood donators only, please send me a picture of you giving blood. A simple picture of you giving blood on the medical table, all strapped up will do. This will handle the issue of no form. Thanks for the support!!!

RPG Fans: Donate blood and get a free PDF copy of the upcoming Obsidian Twilight RPG

If you really care about something you should do something about it and that is how I feel about donating blood. Donating blood is simple, easy and most times painless and best of all can save someone’s life. Currently only 3 out of 100 people donate blood. Every 2 seconds in the United States someone needs blood. Since I am so passionate about donating blood, I have decided to give some of you an incentive on getting you to donate some of yours.

LPJ Design will give away a free copy of their upcoming patron project RPG setting, Obsidian Twilight, releasing October 31, 2009 to those people who make donation of blood to any local or national blood collection agency like the Red Cross (See http://www.givelife.org/ for more information) by October 30, 2009. All you need to do to get a free copy of the Obsidian Twilight RPG is to send us a copy of your donation via email to LMPjr007 (at) AOL (dot) com with your name, date you donated and where you donated (you can block out all the other private stuff that I don’t need to see). Then on October 31st when the Obsidian Twilight RPG is released, you get a free copy. It is that simple.

To be fair to those who already signed up for out patron program for the Obsidian Twilight RPG, if you donate blood LPJ Design will give you a voucher for $100 worth of LPJ Design PDF Products of your choice. If you personally can’t give blood, find a friend who can and ask him to donate for you. Hey what are friends for. Give Blood and get a free copy of the Obsidian Twilight RPG. Simple and easy. This may not be for everyone bit I hope you can take a free minutes out of your busy life and help.
