Print On Demand Card Decks coming to RPGNow & DriveThruRPG!
As I am sure most of you may not know this but One BookShelf / RPGNow / DriveThruRPG just announced
yesterday that they will now be able to do Print-On-Demand (POD) card decks
starting in January. You heard it right, we at LPJ are now going to be able to
do card deck of our already successful Ultimate Spell Deck lines. So if you ever wished you could just have a deck of cards instead of have
to print and cut them out yourself, you dreams have arrived. On top of that,
the rest of our PDF Decks will be getting the POD treatment. So get your money ready for the TONS of new
POD decks we will be putting out.
Plus
best of all for us at LPJ Design, this new service will make it possible for us
to create our extremely long time in development educational card game,
Grammar: The Sentence Creation Card Game, and print it to the gaming market as
an actual deck of cards. I think this is
a great move into helping small publishers become more profitable. Now January
2013 is going to be and even bigger month. Talk to you later…

Meeting with Essential Learning Products went well...
I just had a good phone meeting with Essential Learning Products who is very interested in Grammar: The Sentence Creation Card GameTM I have been developing. It looks like we are moving to the next stage of business development. I think we will have a good partnership, after I do my due diligence on Essential Learning Products and confirm a few fact. Look good so far. I feel like I am on Dragons Den or Shark Tank. Talk to you later...

Working on the other side of the street…
While I am waiting for the release of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, I have been working on my side project, GRAMAR: The Sentence Creation Card GameTM. This is an educational card game I have been working in my head for some time and it looks like the numbers are just right to take this to press and start selling the product in the educational game and toy market. Due to the specific nature of this product, I expect it to do a lot better than anything I have ever seen in the RPG Industry. I have gotten a lot of good feedback from retailers on what they wanted to see from this product. The educational game and toy industry is VERY different from the RPG industry even down to how they get their product to retail stores (FYI: Game and Toy stores don’t use distributors to purchase products, sales people go to the location and sell direct to the store.) so you can get a much better return as a manufacturer. I just bought the new dot.com name for the website and plan for it to be up and running by this weekend. So if you are thing about going into the card game business and you need some help, send me an email and I will do everything I can. Talk to you later…
