Christmas goodness is coming along like a freight train!!!

Good news on TWO fronts for LPJ Design! First, Clinton Boomer’s upcoming masterpiece Obsidian Apocalypse Lexicon: Sinful & Vile Feats (based off of his 31 Haunted Day series) is going to editing so expect to see in on the digital shelves VERY soon. This is one of my favorites since it gave us a time for Clinton to play in the Obsidian Apocalypse setting and give us some CRAZY things to make the setting even more interesting. Second and a little more to home, the all new computer for LPJ Design has shipped and out it way to the HQ. Many of you may not know that the current computer I am working on is over six years old and on its last legs. I am known to work computer to their deaths and it is nice to know that I am getting a top of the line Alienware Area-51 -- http://www.dell.com/us/p/alienware-area51-r2/pd?ref=PD_OC -- to get me tot eh next level of graphic design and begin my new skill set of learning film editing. So expect for 2015 to be a HUGE year of creativity for me.  Talk to you later…

Clinton Boomer, 31 Haunted Days and A Sword for Hire Interview…

A few months ago, I approached Clinton Boomer with working with us due to the work he was doing his daily feats he was doing at his Tumblrsite. The work he was doing was AMAZING, and I had always wanted to work with him, so I contacted him and he agreed. I thought it would be cool to do a full month of horror focused feats, which he named 31 Haunted Days. So today started the 31 Haunted Days with a great feat of undead gunslingers. Best of all this even and feats ties in perfectly with our Cross of Fire Saga adventure path kickstarter.

And keeping in tune with our kickstarter, the blog site, ASword for Hire interviewed us on our Cross of Fire Saga adventure path kickstarter. So if you are interested in learning a little behind the scenes stuff, go over and check it out. It will be VERY informative. Talk to you later…

I wonder what [Insert gaming professional] will think about this…

Very often, I get an idea that I think is great but I know well enough that I need to get a second opinion on. The reason for that is because lots of things sound great in your head and become absolutely crap-tastic when they get on paper. So the idea that I am working with if from a blog post I did called, “Taking a chance on getting the kinks out of the Androids...” and I came up with this simple little idea: Robots looking for the “truth of things” and who are religious fanatics about gambling and taking a chance.

But I don’t want to get response from just ONE gaming professional, I want to get response from A LOT of gaming professionals. So here is my question to you gaming professionals out there: What do you think about this android / robot / construct idea in a fantasy setting? There are no wrong answers (Clinton Boomer and Owen I am talking to you) just interesting ideas. Talk to you later…

In Defiance of Sorcery - the low-magic/no-magic campaign toolkit for Pathfinder by Clinton Boomer coming soon

It all started with a little post by Clinton Boomer on his blog and with that a new product for LPJ Design was born. In Defiance of Sorcery: the low-magic/no-magic campaign toolkit for Pathfinder will let players play in the realm of literary traditions of sword-and-sorcery with this amazing toolkit. Even fans of the upcoming Primeval Thule Campaign Setting Kickstarter and their Primeval Thule Traveler's Guide will want to pick this up and add to their low-magic/no-magic campaigns. These striking stories and images of clashing action are the blood, muscles and bones of the In Defiance of Sorcery, it’s low fantasy the way it was meant to be played. Etched in your mind illustrations of artists such as Roy Krenkel and Frank Frazetta; and influenced by classic pulp fantasy stories such as Edgar Rice Burrough’s tales of savage worlds, Robert E. Howard’s Conan stories, and even H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu mythos. In Defiance of Sorcery will bring this all to life. Expect to see In Defiance of Sorcery by late August / early September. Talk to you later...
