With less than a month of bachelor-hood left, I have realized that paying for a marriage is a LOT more expensive than I initially thought. WOW!!! Stargate is gone... Well not really

Well it looks like Sci-Fi Channel is killing off Stargate Atlantis to start an all-new show called, Stargate Universe. What kind of idiot kills a show then spends money on a new show "based off of" the show they just cancelled? That is corporate business logic at its finest right there. Talk to you later...

Now I am 38.....

WOW!!!! 38 years old today. 50 doesn't seem that old any more. Even scarier, 20 years ago I finished high school. 20 years!!!! Where the hell did it all go, and why do I remember so much of it? Talk to you later...

The changing face of TV is now online...

Now with Rosario Dawson’s Gemini Division being online, I think TV shows as we know them are changing in ways that Hollywood can even understand. Sanctuary was one of the first online shows that proved it can be done. Knowing that and being in South Florida (A well know place where everyone wantes to shoot in), I think it might be something that I am need to look more seriously into. I already have a good friend and his wife, who is in the "business", so my idea of doing a online television production company may not be that crazy of an idea. I guess it is time to talk to Alex about how everything was working on Broken and how to get money to do this kind of thing. Entertainment is a whole new world, with the internet being the new player on the block that changes everything. Talk to you later...

This would have been great until...

Well I just heard they are doing a movie version to the comic book, Sleeper. Good story, great action, would do very well on screen (I would prefer TV).

But then I saw this, and it killed me...

Please tell me crazy boy is NOT working on this. Sam, don't make a deal with the devil. You will lose all your comic cred if you do this!!!!!!!!

NeoExodus: A House Divided work continues...

Lots of stuff going on here with everyone working on more and more NeoExodus: A House Divided projects. Neal Bailey just told me he finished the rough draft on Lexicon Chronicles: Caneus Empire. Joshua Cole is working on Races of NeoExodus: P'Tan. Then after he finishes that up, we have to go and revamp Races of NeoExodus: Dalrean and Races of NeoExodus: Prymidian. There are going to be some minor/mild changes with the Dalrean, but we are going to make some major changes in Prymidians. I have been working on Monsters of NeoExodus: Dragons and getting together how to make them different from every other type of dragons out there. Plus I a still working on

I am hoping to assign Classes of NeoExodus: Lawbringers and Classes of NeoExodus: Phoenix Guard to Owen K.C. Stephens but I will have to contact him to see what his schedule looks like. Owen has done a lot of work for me on NeoExodus: A House Divided. I also am going to start talks with Werecabagges to release monthly adventures based off of the setting. Plus on top of all this I am growing my business releation with Paizo. I hope to have a few announcements about our new releationship come up very soon in the next few weeks or months. So keep your fingers crossed. This could be HUGE for us at LPJ Design. Plus with all this we are adding more artist to the company roster, to work on an all new project. This will be a little different for us but I think it will work out very well long term.

I am waiting for Mark at Skortched Urf Studios to release Department 7: Genesis. The premise sounded interesting when he told me so I can wait to see it. Talk to you later...

Six more to 100...

Well, there are only six more issues of 100 Bullets remaining. I am a huge fan of this comic book. For me, it is on the same level that I consider The Wire to be on. Utter Perfection. If you are looking to read a masterpiece of comic book work and you want to get away from "men in tights" and see how to do great stories where the human morality is heavily in the grey areas, then you should be reading this. Only six more issue. Now I have to find something to replace it. The greatest scene I ever read:

Police: Freeze! Drop you weapon!
Police: I said--
Lono:--I heard.
Police: Do it Now!
Lono: You 'aint the boss of me!

Talk to you later...

Coming Soon...Sidetrek Adventure Weekly 3: Empire of Tears

This one is coming very soon. All I will say is what I told the Line Editor Greg, "I want at least 25 to 40% of the party members killed in the first encounter. Then things will get tough from there." That kind of says it all for me on this one. Talk to you later...
